The Coalition offers participating states culturally relevant social media resources to reach target audiences and support their state contact tracing efforts.
The resources are educational and include information about how contact tracing helps stop the spread of COVID-19, why individuals should participate in contact tracing efforts, and the basics of what individuals should expect if they are contacted. These resources have been focus-group tested and are designed to address possible barriers to participating.
The Coalition also serves as a clearinghouse for best practices for communication around contact tracing, including research, communication tools, public service announcements, and social media assets.
Coalition Advisory Group
The Coalition benefits from the advice of a Coalition Advisory Group that represents policy and public health expertise across academic, business, nonprofit and public sectors. These individuals advise the Coalition on key deliverables, measures for success, and challenges that arise during implementation of the Community COVID Coalition project.
